Today, a young policeman from the neighbourhood police post came over to our school to give an education talk about crime prevention: Robbery. Hopefully by sharing with you guys, you will be more aware of the precaution to take. Below are the tips:
1) Always be alert and attentive to the surroundings. If you suspect that somebody is following you, remain calm and proceed to a more crowded area to seek assistance.
2) Avoid taking short cuts through dimly lit, quiet and secluded places.
3) Do not expose cash/handphone in public view.
4) Do not carry large sums of money when you are out. If you do, deposit the money in a bank or remit the money home as soon as possible.
